Step 1: Identify and Move Tables
When you move tables together(e.g., Tables 1, 2, and 3), each table’s tablet has its own table number based on its sensor.
Step 2: Choose the Main Table
Decide which table will have the open check. (e.g., Table 1).
Step 3: Collect and Consolidate Tablets
Place the tablets on the table with the open check. On DigiSite .11+, placing tablets directly on or near the table sensor will automatically reassign them.
On older versions (.7 and below), place tablets face down for about 3 seconds to force reassignment. If you’re unsure of your version, contact your Client Director.
Step 4: Tablets Obtain the Same Table Number
Tablets detect the sensor from the main table and assigns them the same table number, making all tablets lock on the table with the open check.
Step 5: Confirm and Continue Service
Verify each tablet shows the right table. You are now free to move the tablets to the other tables within the group. (e.g. table 2 and 3)
Step 6: Separating Tables Back
After the check is closed, devices automatically return to standard DigiSite behavior and resume detecting the specific table they are assigned to.
