Overview

Some customers using iOS 26 may experience instances where SMS receipts from our service are not delivered to their devices. This behavior is caused by changes in iOS’s default message filtering settings, which may classify certain SMS messages as spam.

Why This Happens

iOS 26 introduces more aggressive filtering for SMS messages. Messages are more likely to be marked as spam if they meet certain criteria:

  • Contain a hyperlink: All SMS receipts include a link to the guest receipt, which increases the likelihood of being flagged.

  • Sent from an unknown number: Messages sent from numbers not saved in a device’s contacts are more likely to be filtered.

Immediate Recommendations for Customers

To ensure SMS receipts are received and recognized as legitimate:

  1. Check the Spam/Junk folder on your iPhone for messages from our service.

  2. Mark our number as safe or “Not Junk” to prevent future messages from being filtered.

  3. Share this guidance with other users who may experience similar issues.
