Pay Now Button Grayed Out

Why Can't the Guest Tap 'Pay Now'?

If the Pay Now button is grayed out or unresponsive, it means there’s no open check associated with the table. Since there’s no bill to pay, the button remains inactive.

How to Resolve It

Ask the server to open a check for the table. Once a check is active, the guest will be able to proceed with payment.
